1. Our commitment

At Southeast & Co, we’re committed to ensuring our website is accessible to everyone - regardless of ability, device, or circumstance. Clarity is at the heart of what we do, and we believe that includes clarity of access.

We aim to follow best practices in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standards wherever possible.

2. Design and functionality principles

Our website has been designed with the following in mind:

  • Clear layout and consistent navigation
  • High-contrast text and background colours
  • Responsive design for mobile, tablet, and desktop
  • Keyboard-only navigation compatibility
  • Screen-reader compatibility on all key content areas
  • Plain English language used throughout

We’ve also avoided unnecessary animations to ensure a focused, distraction-free experience.

3. Ongoing improvements

While we’ve worked hard to ensure a high level of accessibility, we recognise that technology and needs change. We regularly review the accessibility of our website and make ongoing improvements to:

  • Alt text coverage for all images and buttons
  • Form labelling and error-handling
  • Focus states and tab ordering
  • Mobile usability across different screen sizes
  • Page load performance for users with slower connections

4. Known limitations

Some third-party tools or embedded content (e.g. from Calendly, ClickUp, or Abacus) may not yet fully meet WCAG standards. These are outside our direct control, but we’re always looking for accessible alternatives or solutions where possible.

5. Feedback and contact

If you experience any issues accessing any part of our site, or if you have suggestions for improvement, we’d be grateful to hear from you.
